BAND HISTORY
KOBRAJET was formed just after the turn of the millennium by brothers, Rob and Dan Erdmann, and childhood friend, Zach Holen. The Erdmanns grew up harmonizing together and performing at various family functions and community events. Zach was raised by two rock super fans, who nurtured his love of music at a very early age. Competing in various school sports together in Middle-of-Nowhere, North Dakota, the trio discovered a deeper connection through music and decided to form a band. Neither Zach nor Dan remembers agreeing to the name 'KOBRAJET', but Rob's love of Ford Mustang engines served as inspiration for the moniker and it stuck.
Throughout the next several years, KOBRAJET performed many regional gigs ranging from street dances and high school proms, to anniversary celebrations and parties for nuns (100% true).
Once adulthood took hold, and children and careers joined the mix, the group decided to take a brief, 12-year hiatus. They've now reunited to scratch an insatiable itch to rock.

KOBRAJET covers a wide variety of musical genres, including classic rock, punk, country, bluegrass, pop and, of course, heavy metal. We grew up idolizing bands like Metallica and AC/DC, so there's always a hefty dose of their tunes within our sets.
We're constantly learning new material and we'd love to hear if there's a song you think we should cover!
